• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Cerro La Espina Mbr of the Mural Fm, which gradationally overlies the Cerro La Puerta Shale, and is overlain by the Mesa Quemada Mbr AGE: Aptian, on the basis of ammonite, bivalve, and foram biostratigraphy, and U/Pb zircon radiometric ages. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: List representative of entire member at this section.

Environment/lithology: offshore; lithified, intraclastic, shelly/skeletal wackestone and lithified, intraclastic, shelly/skeletal packstone

• ENVIRONMENT: Shallow marine siliciclastic, accumulated during maximum flooding phase.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Various lithologies, including thick-bedded limestone, wackestone-packstone with bioclasts, intraclasts, pellets and micrite-rimmed grains of mollusca. LITHIFICATION: Lithified on the basis of figured specimens.
