Whitesheet Hall [Lower Chalk] (Cretaceous of the United Kingdom)

Where: England, United Kingdom (50.8° N, 2.6° W: paleocoordinates 39.5° N, 0.3° W)

• coordinate based on nearby landmark

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: Lower Chalk Formation, Late/Upper Cenomanian (99.6 - 93.5 Ma)

• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Lower Chalk, which overlies the Eggardon Grit (Early Cenomanian). AGE: Late Cenomanian, on the basis of ammonite biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From upper part of Lower Chalk.

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution
