Where: Queensland, Australia (20.8° S, 147.7° E: paleocoordinates 56.1° S, 139.8° E)
• coordinate stated in text
• small collection-level geographic resolution
When: Pseudostrophalosia clarkei brachiopod zone, Blenheim Formation, Wuchiapingian (259.9 - 254.2 Ma)
• Presence of Pseudostrophalosia clarkei suggests an age within the P. clarkei zone, correlated with the upper part of APP4.3 palynomorph zone (Briggs, 1998). The APP4.3 zone was constrained as mid-Wuchiapingian age by U-Pb dating in Laurie et al. (2016).
• bed-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: marine; lithified siliciclastic sediments
Size class: macrofossils
