• "Bööntsagaan Gorizont, Neocomian... at least older than the Aptian... Shuvalov (1982, and this volume) assigned the Khurilt and Kholboot beds to the Andaikhudag Formation that he dated as Hauterivian-Barremian"

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; lithified, sandy shale

•clearly lithified and much more likely a shale than a sandstone based on preservation of specimen
