• Edale Shale Group. 53.52 m of interbedded, turbiditic, sharp-soled sandstones and siltstones with some mudstones. Within 2.54 m of this unit is the fossiliferous band, b/w total depth of 167.54-170.08 meters, 34.54 m above top of E2a2 marine band.
