• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From Member 4 of the Chapel Island Fm, which overlies the Renconte Fm, and is overlain by the Random Fm. AGE: Unclear from Landing et al. (1989), who refers to this as post-Nemakit-Daldynian and pre-Tommotian; Wasonella crosbyi zone; here placed in Tommotian, until clearer data are available. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From the Wasonella crosbyi zone, near the middle of the regional section, at 148.0 m, near base of Member 4.
