When: Choro Member (Mujarún Formation), Late/Upper Cenomanian (99.6 - 93.5 Ma)

• LITHOSTRATIGRAPHY: From the Choro Mbr of the Mujarún Fm, which is locally overlain by the Romirón Fm (Coniacian), and is overlies the Yumagual Fm (Albian-Cenomanian). AGE: Late Cenomanian, on the basis of bivalve and ammonoid biostratigraphy; Exogyra ponderosa zone. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Collection from 194 m thick limestone unit, near the middle of the section.

Environment/lithology: coastal; lithified, nodular, gray, calcareous limestone

• LITHOLOGY: Limestone, medium gray, massive, thick-bedded, fossiliferous nodular. LITHIFICATION: Lithified, on the basis of facies description.
