• LITHOSTRATIGRAPHY: From the Pariatambo Fm, which is locally overlain by the Yumagual Fm (Albian-Cenomanian), and overlies the Chulec Fm (Albian). AGE: Albian, on the basis of ammonite biostratigraphy; Oxytropidoceras carbonarium zone; placed here in Late Albian on the basis of stratigraphic position. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Collection from 9 m thick limestone unit, near the middle of the section.
