• LITHOSTRATIGRAPHY: From the Crisnejas Fm, which locally overlies the Goyllarisquisga Fm (Early Cretaceous), and is overlain by the Pulluicana Gp (Albian-Cenomanian). AGE: Early Albian, on the basis of ammonite biostratigraphy and stratigraphic position; ? Knemiceras raimondii zone. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Collection from unit 9, a 62 m thick shale unit, in the lower portion of the section.
