• LITHOSTRATIGRAPHY: From the Chulec Fm, which overlies the Goyllarisquisga Fm (Aptian-Albian), and is overlain by the Pariatambo Fm (Albian). AGE: Early-Middle Albian, on the basis of ammonite biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Bed 12, 27 m thick.

Environment/lithology: lithified, nodular, gray marl

• LITHOLOGY: Marl, whitish gray, nodular, very fossiliferous. LITHIFICATION: Lithified, on the basis of facies description.
