• LITHOSTRATIGRAPHY: From the Inca Fm, which overlies the Goyllarisquisga Fm (Aptian), and is overlain by the Chulec Fm (Albian). AGE: Early Albian, on the basis of ammonite biostratigraphy; Parahoplites nicholsoni. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Bed 6 of section.

Environment/lithology: lithified, ferruginous, ooidal, brown, gray, sandy limestone

• LITHOLOGY: Interbedded brownish gray, brown weathering, oolitic, arenaceous, and ferruginous limestone and yellowish and greenish brown, finely splintery, fossiliferous shale. LITHIFICATION: Lithified, on the basis of facies description.
