• LITHOSTRATIGRAPHY: From the Restin Fm of the Parinas Gp, which regionally overlies the Parinas Fm (late Middle Eocene) and Salina Gp and is regionally overlain by the Saman Fm (Late Eocene). AGE: Regarded as late Middle Eocene (p. 9) =Bartonian, on the basis of molluscan biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From unknown position within formation.

Environment/lithology: coastal; poorly lithified, gray, green shale

• ENVIRONMENT: Shelfal siliciclastic environment.
