When: Arthricocephalus chauveaui trilobite zone, Balang Formation, Duyunian (516.0 - 513.0 Ma)

• from Bed 17 of the Balang Fm. at Jianggu section. Balange Fm. is underlying Bianmachong Fm., and overlain by the Tsinghutung Fm. It is Canglangpuan Stage according to Zhao et al. 2007. Placed in Duyunian on the bases of trilobite biostratigraphy (see Peng et al. 2001 Cambrian System of South China). From Arthricocephalus chauveaui Zone. Collections is representative of this zone.

Specimens having the prefix KW are from Wenglingtang section of the Early Cambrian Balang Formation at northwest Kaili

•City, Guizhou Province, and specimens having the prefix ZJ are from Jianggu section of the Early Cambrian Balang Formation at Jianggu Town, Zhenyuan County, Guizhou Province.
