• "Horizon close to the base of the Courtown Formation, considered to be low in the Caradoc Series (Brenchley & Treagus, 1970). The Base of the Courtown Fm. is still in the Llandeilian according to fig. 2 in Evans (2002, Spec. Papers Paleont. 67).
