• Bed 712 is in the middle part of the Maggol Fm., about 127 m below base of Jigunsan Fm. (Yun, 1999 fig. 2). The Maggol Formation is a subunit of the Taebaek Group and is largely Arenigian in age (see Kwon, 2005, Geosci. J. 9(4)).
