Where: Sweden (58.6° N, 13.4° E: paleocoordinates 41.8° S, 26.9° W)

• local area-level geographic resolution

When: Schmidtiellus mickwitzi or Holmia inusitata zone, Mickwitzia Sandstone Formation, Atdabanian (520.0 - 516.0 Ma)

• The formation reaches a thickness of about 10m.

• formation-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: shoreface; lithified sandstone and claystone

• Pile of sandstone blocks - fine-grained, hard, locally mica-rich sandstone with thin layers of grey-green argillaceous material. Ripples, dragmarks, and mudcracks present.

Preservation: cast, trace

Collection methods: The material studied is from collections in the Swedish Museum of Natural History, Stockholm (SMNH); the Geological Survey of Sweden, Uppsala; the Department of Historical Geology and Paleontology, University of Lund; the private collecitons of Jan Johansson, Skillersta and Karlsson, Hjalmsater, and Jensen's own field work. Since the individual specimen counts for the previosuly listed collections are not given, the collections are grouped according to locality.
