When: Guadalupian (273.0 - 259.5 Ma)

• Unit Pq of Foster (1976); may be correlated with the lower sandstone unit of the Tahkandit Limestone

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, fine-grained, quartzose, calcareous sandstone and lithified siltstone

• Unmetamorphosed brachiopod-bearing calcareous, fine-grained quartzitic sandstone and siltstone in a fault slice between amphibolite-facies metamorphic rocks on the north and an igneous dike on the south.
