Sister taxa: Abdounia africana, Abdounia beaugei, Abdounia enniskilleni, Abdounia finalis, Abdounia minutissima, Abdounia recticonia, Abdounia richteri

Type specimen: NRM-PZ P15808, a tooth. Its type locality is IAA 1/90, which is in a Ypresian estuary/bay horizon in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at IAA 1/90
