Type specimen: USNM 401886. Its type locality is SH-412-14, San Hipolito Fm, Punta San Hipolito, Baja California Sur, which is in a Pliensbachian slope sandstone/lime mudstone in the San Hipolito Formation of Mexico.

Ecology: passively mobile planktonic omnivore

Distribution:
