Type specimen: MACN Pv 13656, a mandible (incomplete right dentary that preserves the m1 and m2). Its type locality is Parana, Pueblo Brugo to Diamante, Ituzaingo Fm., which is in a Huayquerian marine sandstone/mudstone in the Ituzaingo Formation of Argentina.

Distribution: found only at Parana, Pueblo Brugo to Diamante, Ituzaingo Fm.
