Type specimen: MNA V8066, a skull. Its type locality is Gold Spring Quarry 1 (MNA, MCZ, TMM 45609), which is in a Sinemurian/Pliensbachian floodplain claystone in the Kayenta Formation of Arizona.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Gold Spring Quarry 1 (MNA, MCZ, TMM 45609)
