Type specimen: SDSNH 38343, a mandible (ight dentary preserving i2, c, p3, and m1-2). Its type locality is Jeff's Discovery, which is in an Uintan terrestrial siliciclastic in the Santiago Formation of California.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Jeff's Discovery
