Sister taxa: Dicothodon bajaensis, Dicothodon cifellii

Type specimen: OMNH 29771, a mandible (dentary fragment with one complete tooth and the broken base of another tooth). Its type locality is Mussentuchit (OMNH V239), which is in an Albian/Cenomanian terrestrial horizon in the Cedar Mountain Formation of Utah.

Ecology: omnivore

Distribution: found only at Mussentuchit (OMNH V239)
