Type specimen: CGM 42849, a mandible (mandible with symphysis and right I2, C-M3). Its type locality is Quarry V (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian fluvial sandstone/mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: scansorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at Quarry V (Jebel Qatrani Formation)
