Type specimen: Univ. Mo. 12726, a shell (phragmocone). Its type locality is Unklesbay and Young Locality 1, which is in a Gasconadian offshore limestone in Virginia.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Unklesbay and Young Locality 1
