Sister taxa: Holia anacantha, Holia glabra, Holia magnaspina, Holia secristi

Type specimen: USNM 116506. Its type locality is Loc. 2. edge of quarry, just north of RR tracks ΒΌ mile west of Strasburg Junction, which is in an Ashbyan carbonate limestone in the Edinburg Formation of Virginia.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Ordovician of United States (2: Virginia collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
