Type specimen: MMHN-UABCS/Te8/68-413, a carapace. Its type locality is Tepetate Waypoint 39, which is in an Eocene offshore sandstone in the Bateque Formation of Mexico.

Ecology: semi-infaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Tepetate Waypoint 39
