Type specimen: NHMW 2001zo168/--15, a shell. Its type locality is AB/41 - Abadeh (Qom Fm), which is in a Rupelian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal marl in the Qom Formation of Iran.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution: found only at AB/41 - Abadeh (Qom Fm)
