Type specimen: SDSM No. 511, a partial skeleton (skeleton lacking skull and cervical vertebrae). Its type locality is Procrax brevipes type locality, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine limestone in the Chadron Formation of South Dakota.

Ecology: volant herbivore

Distribution: found only at Procrax brevipes type locality
