Type specimen: UT 94494, a shell. Its type locality is Locality 74. Bubs hill, south of Lyell Highway, 19 kilometers east-southeast of Queenstown, which is in a Gisbornian transition zone/lower shoreface limestone in the Gordon Limestone Formation of Australia.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal deposit feeder
