Type specimen: UT 94498, a shell. Its type locality is Locality 75. Shale at Zeehan Smelters Quarry, Zeehan, which is in an Eastonian transition zone/lower shoreface shale in the Gordon Limestone Formation of Australia.
Ecology: slow-moving infaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Locality 75. Shale at Zeehan Smelters Quarry, Zeehan
