Type specimen: NHMW 2005z0103/0001, a mandible (dext. with m1-m3). Its type locality is Tatal Gol, section TAT-D, layer 1, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial mudstone in the Hsanda Gol Formation of Mongolia.
