Type specimens:
- Archeognathus primus: Missouris School of Mines and Metallurgy No. 7119. Its type locality is MSM 101.1. Diversion Channel 0.8 km west of Ancell (Scott City), which is in a Cassinian carbonate limestone in the Dutchtown Formation of Missouri.
- Youngquistina mitteni: FHSM 11796 (old number) VP-2211 (new number) , a set of teeth.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at MSM 101.1. Diversion Channel 0.8 km west of Ancell (Scott City)
