Type specimen: ISI R265, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Krishnapur north (ISI R265), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian terrestrial mudstone in the Dharmaram Formation of India.

Distribution: found only at Krishnapur north (ISI R265)
