Sister taxa: Euronyctia franconica, Euronyctia montana, Euronyctia recta, Euronyctia saturninensis
Type specimen: IRSNB M 1914, a mandible (dext. with p4, m2). Its type locality is Boutersem TGV, which is in a Rupelian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Borgloon Formation of Belgium.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution:
• Oligocene of Belgium (2 collections)
