Type specimen: FGS V-5950, a set of postcrania (left ilium). Its type locality is Thomas Farm, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Alachua Formation of Florida.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution: found only at Thomas Farm
