Belongs to Paragerrhonotus according to Estes 1963
Sister taxa: none
Type specimen: UCMP 27161, a partial skull (anteior part of skull). Its type locality is Last Chance Gulch (UCMP A259), which is in a Clarendonian terrestrial ash in the Ricardo Formation of California.
Ecology: insectivore-carnivore
Distribution:
• Miocene of United States (2: California, Nebraska collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
