Type specimen: Its type locality is Bohunovo PL-723, which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian basinal (siliceous) radiolarite in Slovakia
Ecology: passively mobile planktonic omnivore
Distribution:
• Jurassic of Albania (1 collection), Germany (1), Italy (12), Japan (23), Oman (8), the Philippines (2), Romania (5), the Russian Federation (2), Slovakia (4), Spain (2), Switzerland (2)
Total: 62 collections each including a single occurrence
