Type specimen: AMNH 20307, a skull. Its type locality is Ula Usu, Shara Murum (AMNH), which is in an Eocene terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Shara Murum Formation of China.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Ula Usu, Shara Murum (AMNH)
