Type specimen: FCDPV 1829, almost complete right mandibular ramus including a full dentition, a mandible. Its type locality is Playa Kiyú, which is in a Miocene fluvial-deltaic mudstone in the Camacho Formation of Uruguay.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Playa Kiyú
