Type specimen: MNG 11135, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Bromacker Quarry (upper level of Tambach sandstone), which is in an Artinskian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Tambach Formation of Germany.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Bromacker Quarry (upper level of Tambach sandstone)
