Sister taxa: Angelosaurus greeni, Angelosaurus romeri

Type specimen: CNHM (FMNH) 149, a partial skeleton (pelvis and limb elements). Its type locality is Locality KN (San Angelo Fm.), which is in a Kungurian/Roadian terrestrial shale/conglomerate in the San Angelo Formation of Texas.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Locality KN (San Angelo Fm.)
