Sister taxa: Chaoiella geniculata, Chaoiella gruenewaldti, Chaoiella taiyuanfuensis, Chaoiella volkovi

Type specimen: Tohoku Univ IGPS108864. Its type locality is Duwa section, DU2, Keziliqiman Formation, Tarim Basin, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Keziliqiman Formation of China.
