Type specimen: GSI 16771, a valve (ventral valve). Its type locality is West side of ridge 1185, 10 feet below top, SE of Musa Khel, Salt Range, which is in a Capitanian marine horizon in the Amb Formation of Pakistan.

• Permian of Afghanistan (1 collection), Iran (13), Oman (8), Pakistan (1), the United Arab Emirates (1)
