Type specimen: AMNH 29201, a valve (Right valve). Its type locality is AMNH2010, Beaver Creek, which is in a Kungurian open shallow subtidal packstone in the Park City Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Permian of United States (3: Texas, Wyoming collections)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
