Type specimen: AMNH 29173, a valve (Right valve). Its type locality is AMNH3113, Baldwin Creek, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal packstone in the Park City Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Permian of United States (2: Wyoming collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
