Type specimen: Its type locality is Spring Creek, Hells Canyon, which is in a Lacian perireef or subreef limestone in the Martin Bridge Limestone Formation of Oregon
Ecology: stationary epifaunal photosymbiotic-suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Triassic of United States (2: Alaska, Oregon collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
