Type specimen: USNM 480305. Its type locality is Stehli 1970 spot locality DJT-27, Merbah el Oussif, Djebel Tebaga, which is in a Capitanian marine horizon in the Middle Shaly Facies Formation of Tunisia.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Stehli 1970 spot locality DJT-27, Merbah el Oussif, Djebel Tebaga
