Type specimen: USNM 330887, a valve (Intermediate valve). Its type locality is USNM720g, Hess Ranch Horst, Glass Mountains, which is in an Artinskian slope limestone in the Skinner Ranch Formation of Texas.
Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal grazer
Distribution:
• Permian of United States (2: Texas collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
