Type specimen: USNM 119186. Its type locality is USNM702d, Hill 5725, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Hess Formation of Texas.

Ecology: epifaunal grazer

Distribution:

• Permian of United States (4: New Mexico, Texas collections)
